The Many and the Few

1 Corinthians 10 contains a stunning record regarding the unbelief of many of the children of Israel, despite all of them sharing the same benefits, and the same blessing from God. This record clearly stands as an admonition to the church: we, too, share the same completeness in Christ, but each individual must choose to resist temptation. As each member makes this individual choice, the church as a whole can fully manifest God’s glory on the earth. [Tom Burke]
