Mark 8:27 — 10:45

#1335 – June 25, 2023

Jesus repeatedly taught his disciples that the Son of Man must suffer, die, and be raised from the dead. He patiently and lovingly prepared them for this and for the kingdom of God that his death would make available to mankind. He taught them the attitudes and standards that this kingdom operated by and what qualified them for entrance into it. He also confronted their traditions regarding what the Messiah came to do and regarding what greatness looks like in the kingdom of God.
