What Is Our Motivation?

#185 – November 26, 2000

Walking circumspectly, in part, means taking steps we are sure are according to God’s Word and not doing things out of anger or another emotion. Jesus’ example of healing Malchus’ ear is compared to Peter’s emotional response of violence. When others are quick to hurt, we can choose to be quick to heal. As a group of Christians, or as an individual Christian, we choose the standard we live our life by, and that will determine the choices we make. [Tom Burke]
