All who believe in Jesus Christ get the gift of holy spirit. God’s intent is that our lives would also be filled with that spirit — that we would take it into use and bless those around us. The spirit of God will never take control of us, but we can grow in being led by it and responding to it. The church and the world around us need those who have the spirit to live in its power.
