The God of My Life

August 4, 2015

A teaching from Psalms during Family Camp 2015 on “The Prayer of the Upright is His Delight.” David and others who wrote the Psalms had a deep, personal relationship with God. They weren’t seeking answers to prayer so much as seeking God, Himself. For them, God was not simply a part of their lives, rather He was the God of their lives. God was not only welcome in all categories of life, but sought out–and sought out exclusively. We, too, can begin to call God “my God” as we pursue being written into His story. [Josh Thomas]
