A Most Significant Secret

The suffering and death of Jesus Christ was not a tragic accident; rather, it was the crucial linchpin to God’s ultimate will being accomplished. If the spiritual forces that crucified Jesus had known the fullness of what his death would achieve, they would not have done it. The specifics of what it means that Satan would have his head crushed were hidden. In Ephesians 6, the church is commanded to stand strong as invaders in this evil day holding fast and proclaiming the truths of the great mystery (secret) now revealed. [Josh Thomas]
