This teaching examines two different uses of the word ‘flesh’. Living spiritually does not mean taking the Gnostic approach of trying to suppress our bodily existence. On the other hand, nothing about our physical lives is inherently spiritual so it would be foolish to front our natural abilities. The answer is living by the new creation in Christ and, by faith, choosing to value that in others as well. [Josh Thomas]
