Love for Jesus Christ is a normal part of the Christian life. Paul had it. Peter had it. And they both assumed it of Christians as they wrote Scripture. Love for him will overflow into a life of obedience as a worthy disciple. Getting to know him and remembering him as revealed in the Gospels, and in the gospel, is the key to a flourishing and enduring love for Jesus. [Josh Thomas]
