The title “Christian” was actually not given by God or chosen by Christ’s first followers. It was a term coined by outsiders. Whatever the world may think of us or label us, we know God has designated those who are saved through Jesus Christ as disciples, believers, saints, and beloved children in His family. Like Paul, we can think and speak of ourselves as beloved and holy brothers and sisters, and as believers and followers of our wonderful Savior. [Josh Thomas]
