“Despise Not”

God gave His Word for our benefit. He desires humble, willing children that are led, trained, and transformed by Him. If we allow ourselves to simply amass knowledge of verses, disregarding its inherent power and authority, we are not going to His Word for the right reasons. It can lead us to a place where, in practice, we are despising His Word. Like newborn babies, we can and should desire to feed on His living Word, remembering this is the way we can grow.
