Reckon It So
#190 – December 31, 2000
In Adam, we had a contract with death that no one could escape, but Christ’s death for us cancelled that contract. God chose to save us by His grace when we were enemies, showing us undeserved favor. As Christians, we are to reckon the old man dead and ourselves alive to God. Having begun in God’s grace, we all are to continue to stand in that grace and not revert to works for justification.
