1 Corinthians 1:1-24
#266 – July 7, 2002
The wisdom of God is Jesus Christ the Lord. Having forgotten him, the Corinthians were divided, valuing other things (works) that were more appealing to this world, things that were based on the five senses. Even though it is never what this world would applaud, Paul preached the cross of Christ. He taught the Corinthians to remember the righteousness obtained only by the completed work of Christ.
