The Love of God, Part 1

#272 – August 18, 2002

“Phileo” and “agapeo” are two Greek words for “love”. The love of God (agapeo) is based on principles in God’s Word: it is unconditional and not an emotional love. Whereas, “phileo” is an emotional human love. God’s commandment to us is that we love each other with the love He gave us in the new birth: agapeo love.
