A Waste?

#306 – April 13, 2003

Jesus often taught in the form of a parable. In Luke 18, Jesus contrasts two different men: a publican and a Pharisee. The publican humbly recognized his helplessness to enter the Kingdom of God by his own works, and he was justified in his believing. This humble heart before God is what brings a person to the point of getting born again, and is also the heart that one should continue to have after being born again. [Tom Burke]
