God’s Temple

Solomon’s temple of the Old Testament was a shadow of God’s future dwelling place: the Body of Christ. As the Body of Christ, we are the temple of the living God. Therefore, we honor its members, looking at what Christ has accomplished in each of us to keep from “defiling” this habitation of God. [Tom Burke]
