But, in Contrast, Part 2

#400 – February 13, 2005

This is the second teaching on the word “but.” This small, seemingly insignificant word holds the truth of God’s Word regarding powerful differences: the contrast between life and death, between bondage and sonship, and from what we were to what God’s grace has caused us to become. We are no longer servants but sons, we are no longer destined to wrath but appointed to salvation. God has carefully and powerfully placed every letter of His Word for us to believe. [Tom Burke]
