2 Thessalonians, Part 1
#488 – November 12, 2006
The Thessalonians’ faith grew and their love abounded, but there is no mention of their waiting for Jesus Christ’s return. Paul writes to remind them about the truth regarding Christ’s return so they could patiently endure the pressures of this life. It is believing these future events that gives us the strength to stand in this world, patiently looking to and waiting for the Hope of our Lord’s return. [Tom Burke]
