Paul was limited to just how much of the Word of God could be presented to the Corinthian saints. They had become too entangled in the world, inhibiting their hearts from being enlightened toward God’s wisdom. They were not putting on the mind of Christ and therefore they could not know the deeper truths of God. [Tom Burke]
