Supernatural Reality

#513 – May 6, 2007

In Acts chapters 11-13 we saw a glimpse into the lives of the believers in the first century church. They believed in and expected to see the supernatural power of God. They acted upon a prophet’s word without waiting; they prayed for Peter’s release from prison and saw that happen. Men were sent on a mission, not by committee, but because God sent them. Their believing, prayer, and steadfast adherence to God’s Word was the root of the things that happened. The greatest thing they did was preach Christ so others could be born again. We should follow their example. [Tom Burke]
