In Truth, the Word of God

#555 – February 24, 2008

When Paul wrote to Timothy he was in prison, at the end of his life, and he didn’t have many followers. He wrote to encourage Timothy to continue to stand on the Word, to not pull away from the doctrine, and to remember what he has in the spirit. As we give God’s Word its proper place these words will enable us to stand in this life and to grow in our spiritual understanding of it. (T. Burke)
