Nothing More, Nothing Less

God’s Word gives us examples to emulate, but we need to allow God to show us what they are examples of. Jesus was confident in God and his standing as a son. He was willing to lay aside all fleshly attributes and humble himself before God. True humility stems from what is in the heart; a true recognition that He’s God and we’re not. We want to replace what’s in our hearts with God’s thoughts. This is accomplished by going to His Word and believing it. (T. Burke)
