Psalm 73:1-15

#595 – November 30, 2008

Often times, temptations come from our thoughts. These thoughts aren’t sin, but what we do with them can conclude in sin. Psalm 73 deals with Asaph’s thoughts: he saw the prosperity of the wicked and became envious. The devil’s aim is to get us to conclude that believing God is useless. Instead of spouting unbelieving thoughts to other believers, we can make them subject to the Word of God. [Tom Burke]
