Life More Abundantly
#721 – May 1, 2011
In this teaching we looked at John 9 where Jesus opened the eyes of a man who was born blind and the inquiry that followed. The man whose eyes had been opened believed on Jesus as the son of God, but the Jews remained blind to this truth. Jesus confronted their blindness in John 10 with a series of proverbs and parables showing that believing on him was the only way. The context of John 10 shows that those who try to enter any other way are, as Jesus said, “thieves and robbers”. [Mike Clark]
