A Good Minister

As ministers of God we choose to lead people into a greater truth of the Gospel. We are also to guard the Word from those who would try to tear it down. There are those who will depart from the faith, the right doctrine, by hearing and believing doctrines contrary to the Gospel of God — so called doctrines of devils. We must know who we are in Christ and continue to take heed to ourselves and the doctrine. In doing this we will both save ourselves and those who hear us. [Tom Burke]
