Assurance to All

#754 – January 8, 2012

A big part of why Jesus came was to save people from sin. Because the wages of sin is death, fulfilling this task required him being born of the Holy Ghost, living a perfect, sinless life and then offering his precious blood in death. God, in His justice, could only accept a sacrifice that was up to this perfect standard. The resurrection is God’s stamp of approval that Jesus indeed never sinned and that his sacrifice was accepted. No matter a person’s religious background, God has given assurance unto all in that He has raised Jesus from the dead. [Josh Thomas]
