Samuel

#773 – May 20, 2012

Beginning with an overview of the Old Testament, this teaching examines the life and ministry of Samuel in relation to the spiritual condition of Israel at the time. After hundreds of years of virtual darkness, Samuel brought the light of God’s Word back to the people of Israel. Special attention is given to Samuel’s faithfulness. Despite his own opinions or personal feelings, he obeyed God, and thereby is set in God’s Word as an example to those who desire to be faithful in our day and time. [Tom Burke]
