Let It Shine

#775 – June 3, 2012

A teaching from Acts 8 that focuses on the simplicity of Philip’s walk, and yet the great power that was evidenced by him. Primarily, Philip’s time in Samaria is covered, with some reference to later events. Comparisons are drawn between the lives and backgrounds of Paul and Philip. Though Paul was in some ways unique, Philip may be described as more of an “everyman” – yet he is no less an example of faithful service. [Tom Burke]
