Remembering Christ’s Resurrection

#812 – February 24, 2013

While there are many things in God’s Word that are helpful to know as a Christian, the resurrection of Jesus Christ stands out in its significance. It is vital for Christians to remember Christ’s resurrection and what it means for their lives on a daily basis. This teaching focuses on three distinct ways in which Christ’s resurrection is significant: (1) it is the sign from God that Jesus Christ accomplished what God sent him to accomplish; (2) it gives assurance that Christians will one day receive glorified, eternal, spiritual bodies; and (3) because of it all Christians have newness of life at this very moment.
