Loving Unto the End

#816 – March 24, 2013

Men and women of the world measure their performance, and their worth, by comparing themselves to the others around them. Christians who honestly want to gauge their growth have one standard: Jesus Christ. This teaching examines Jesus’ example of love and humility in John 13 and 14. In light of the Scriptures’ exhortation to put on the mind of Christ, none of us can honestly say that we have “arrived”. But we can have the joy of shining as lights in the world as we continue to grow up into Christ. [Tom Burke]
