The fear of God, or awe regarding God, is an essential part of the message of God’s Word. It is essential both in order to recognize the need for salvation and, for the saved one, it is the source of continual joy, freedom and resources. This teaching (really, an extended sharing) discusses the need to both walk in the fear of God and to have no hesitation about including it as part of the message we speak in the world. [Tom Burke]
