The Way, the Truth, and the Life

Jesus Christ stated clearly and emphatically that he is “the way, the truth and the life” and that no man comes to the Father but through him. He is “the way” because God’s plan of salvation is fulfilled in Christ. He is “the truth” because everything he spoke, he received from his Father, who is true and His words are true. He is “the life” because all who believe in him receive eternal life. John 14:6 is a statement of humility and submission to God because Jesus knew what it would take for this to become a reality … his total sacrifice. [Ken McCaw]
