It’s Not About Me

If we want to have a life of believing, then we need to acknowledge that there is nothing in our flesh that will have merit, value, or provide real wisdom or real power. If we want to operate fully like people we see in the book of Acts, then we need to “devalue” our own way of doing things, our own thoughts, and our own desires to achieve some status, honor, or praise from men. Instead we can glory in Christ alone, who is all the power and wisdom we will ever need. [Dustin Doherty]
