The Fight

#191 – January 7, 2001

When the Devil conspired to fight against Nehemiah in the rebuilding of the Jerusalem wall, even God’s people became weary, forgetting God. Nehemiah exhorted them not to be afraid but to remember, trust God and choose to fight. The Devil still tries to obstruct the work of God, and likewise we can stand unafraid, choosing to fight to keep God’s Word in our minds. We are equipped to resist the Devil, and are enabled to help others be recovered out of his snare. [Tom Burke]
