Three Kings, Part 2

#241 – January 6, 2002

This teaching contrasts King Jeroboam’s reign with King David’s reign. Whereas David attended to the things of God as a man after God’s own heart, Jeroboam left the things of God, trusting his own heart and the counsel of others, becoming the benchmark of evil for kings who followed in his footsteps. For our learning we should note the differences in these two kings. [Tom Burke]
