Resist the Adversary

God has given us His Word so that we can know Him. The Word of God also reveals that we have an adversary, the god of this world, and his purpose is to distract us from the true God and our Lord Jesus Christ. He is the driving force behind all evil. God’s children are no longer under the Devil’s authority. Therefore, we can chose to resist the Devil and continue to freely make known the Word of God. [Tom Burke]
