God has always given man freedom of will to love, to worship, to obey and to serve Him. In the garden, man chose not to do this and the result was catastrophic. Man no longer had the ability to communicate freely with his God. God now has to work with man in a limited, new way. There are many great examples of men who are wonderful examples of men choosing to love and obey God. Two examples of men that are examined more closely in this teaching are David and Jesus Christ, who in spite of very adverse situations, chose to love and obey God. Men who chose, by their freedom of will, to do the will of God when it wasn’t convenient or easy to do so. As born again ones, we truly are new creations in Christ. We have been made free to love and serve God. We have been equipped with holy spirit and can walk by that spirit. We have been placed in this body of Christ by God and given a ministry, a God-given ability to help strengthen the church. Do we will to do so?
