The systems of this world are evil, and against the purposes of God. God’s Word makes known how to live in this world that is ruled by His enemy, the Devil. We have been rescued from it’s authority even while still living in it. We are now citizens of Heaven left by our Lord to make in-roads here in order to rescue others. When this age, which the Devil rules over, comes to an abrupt end, Christ’s rule will begin and Christ will reign from age to age. [Tom Burke]
