When the Devil tempted Jesus Christ, his mind went straight to the Word he knew. Right after that he went back to teaching God’s Word. No matter what or who tempted Jesus Christ he always taught God’s Word, and he always did the Father’s will, regardless of the circumstances. [Rich Conn]
Jesus Christ knew what must come to pass for our redemption, yet he still continued to speak God’s words, regardless of the situation. The more he spoke, the more the people wanted to kill him. Even after being beaten to the point of no recognition, he still spoke God’s words. As he was hanging on the cross, he still spoke God’s words. We have had this Word committed to us. We should speak it in all situations because Jesus Christ, as the head of the body, was our example. The world needs to hear it. [Ken McCaw]
