Justified by Works?

#465 – June 4, 2006

God’s truths will never contradict themselves. Viewing one verse alone without considering its context can lead to confusing contradictions. An example such as  James 2:24 is considered regarding justification by faith versus works. When compared to Galatians 2 and sections in Romans chapters 3 and 9,  it is shown that no works of the law can justify a man other than believing in Jesus Christ. [Tom Burke]
