Resting on God’s Word

#714 – March 13, 2011

We looked at the record when the king of Assyria came against Judah. The king of Judah initially tried to handle this situation on his own. When this failed he turned to God and encouraged the people with the words of God. Hezekiah had to choose to believe the words of man or the words of God. When he humbled himself and rested on God’s Word, God delivered him. We can choose to rest on God’s word because He will never leave us.
