1 Samuel 15

#774 – May 27, 2012

This chapter, which documents King Saul’s rebellion against the Word of God, contains tremendous learning for the Christian. If we are to walk with God, we must recognize what pleases Him. Although Saul may have felt that his actions were justified, God makes it clear that disobedience is never pleasing to Him, regardless of the results it produces. David – a man after God’s own heart – is referenced in contrast to Saul. [Tom Burke]
