In this concluding teaching, the question as to how the believer can live and serve God in the world is addressed. Many realize that “putting on” God’s Word is a necessity, but we sometimes forget that putting off is equally important. As we faithfully do both, our lives will be fruitful, outwardly demonstrating what God has done within. Although we may sometimes fail in this endeavor, we can stay faithful as we remember the things that will be ours in the ages to come. [Tom Burke]
