Authority to Represent Christ

The gospels give us very clear examples regarding how much power and authority Jesus Christ had in his earthly ministry, in both what he spoke and the works that he did. Jesus Christ promised his disciples in Mark 16 and Matthew 28 that those who believe on him would not only have the full authority to use his name, but to work tremendous works, such as speaking in tongues, healing and bringing others to Christ. We are Christ’s representatives on earth now and with that comes all that he was and is. [Ken McCaw]
