God gave the Law and Jesus Christ kept it, thereby fulfilling all the Law and the prophecy concerning himself. This qualified Christ to lay down his life as a ransom to pay the price for the sin of all mankind, enabling those who believe on him to be restored to the spiritual state Adam lost for mankind.
