Giving and Receiving

God is clear and direct throughout His Word regarding His people giving of their substance with a heart of trust in the One who provides abundantly. Giving to God with this trusting heart allows us to receive from our God who is able to make all grace abound towards us in all things – our needs are met, and our response then is one of thanksgiving to our God. Giving and receiving God’s way honors God and allows us to produce fruit that abounds to our account. [Tom Burke]
