God designed Adam to be a three-part being. He had a body, soul, and spirit. After Adam’s disobedience to God’s command, he produced children after his own image, which is body and soul only. But because of Jesus Christ’s obedience to God, man can again choose to accept the free gift from God, which is being born again with holy spirit. [Diane Freeman]
