Your Word is Truth

According to I Timothy 2:4, it is God’s will that all men are saved (born again) but then to also come unto a knowledge of the truth. The question then becomes, what it truth and where did it come from? God, and His son Jesus Christ, make it very clear that truth comes from God and that God’s word is truth. We learn from Jeremiah 36 how this process happens … and how God communicates His word to man, and then how it is written down. And Jesus Christ explains in John 14 – 16 how the comforter would continue to bring God’s Word to His people, including reminding them of the words of God spoken by Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry.
